Seven seas were super organised, made the whole process easy, affordable and super quick!

The process was all online and you can chat with an agent who are all beyond helpful!

They send you all the materials for shippping (boxes, markers and tape)

All you have to is pack, note down your belongings, tape the boxes up and jot down your details on each box~ YES that easy!

Boxes were in PERFECT condition when they arrived in the UK ~ no delays, no custom issues and also the tracking system on the website was FANTASTIC and very accurate!✨

Highly recommend using seven seas! moving your belongings should be a stress free task and with them it definitely ticks that one big task off your list as they have it under control from start to finish. ??

I've noticed many reviews about Seven Seas, particularly complaints regarding their delivery drivers not helping with unloading. However, my experience was quite different:

I shipped items from Hong Kong to the UK in March 2025, and they arrived in May 2025, taking approximately 60 days.

In Hong Kong, the driver came to my door and helped load about 30 boxes into a medium-sized container. I didn't have to lift a finger. The driver was friendly, handled the items and furniture carefully, and didn’t ask for any tips. The entire process, from arrival to loading, took about an hour, and I was required to supervise the sealing process and take photos for documentation.

After the goods arrived in the UK, a company employee contacted me to arrange a delivery time and date. The driver arrived at my door on time, counted the items, checked for damage, and helped me unload them. Again, the driver was friendly, handled the goods with care, and didn’t ask for any tips.

Overall, I found their service to be quite good. They are a company that highly values its reputation, and their handling fees for the same amount of goods are more affordable compared to other companies. Most importantly, all fees and handling details were communicated in advance by phone, and everything was executed according to the agreed terms without unnecessary disputes.

My cargo was sent to Hamilton Airport, rather than Toronto Airport, which is over an hour's drive away, with very few transport links. Having just moved back to Canada, I am yet to get a car so this a problem. The opening hours for this airport's customs office is only during work hours on weekdays, which means I have to take a day off work to gain clearance on my belongings - not ideal when starting a new job. I have contacted Sevens Seas, and they simply told me to get in touch with DHL directly to sort it out. Disappointed with the service overall. I would probably advise others to simply just book directly with DHL or another service, as Sevens Seas "door to door" service is pretty much just them booking one of them on your behalf, and the lack of attention detail here has ultimately ended up costing me substantially more without any actual benefits in terms of ease of shipping. I'm not usually one to complain, but I would probably not use them in the future for that reason.

I recently used 7 Seas in China to move my stuff from Qingdao to Shenzhen.

They charged a lot more than local companies, but since they claim to be 'international' with international high quality standards I opted for them.

Upon delivery in Shenzhen, 2 of the 3 workers wore flip flops. They then proceeded to place my 1.8m cherry oak credenza on a trolley instead of lifting it, which is what should have been done. The trolley was dragged along a bumpy path to the lift area. During this time friction was caused and my credenza was damaged and now has a massive scorched dent in it.

When complaining, I was given all sorts of excuses how it couldn't have been them, when it clearly was caused due to their negligence.

Then I was told because I didn't opt for insurance nothing would be done.

This is a disgrace. I just paid 1300 pound to move a relatively small amount of furniture. Why should I need insurance? Insurance is for freight incase it sinks in the ocean. If you can't deliver the furniture without damaging it for 1300 pounds then you can't do the job you claim you can do and you are simply scammers. Thieves.

All I can take from this is 7 Seas are scammers. Unless you pay them even more for 'insurance' they take your money then treat your stuff like crap because there is no accountability.

And let me ask you 7 Seas... Even if I I had insurance, what then? I'm 100% certain you would have just presented the same arguments I already received... "it wasn't us! You didn't pack it right!"

I paid you 1300 pounds to drag my furniture along a bump path on a trolley instead of lifting it.

Shame on you 7 Seas. Thanks for stealing over 1000 pound of my money. Masquerading as a company with international standards but presenting your customers with charlatans in flip-flops to carry out the work.

My wife and I contacted Seven Seas to arrange for our household goods to be brought over to our new home in Scotland in 2022.

The company was very easy to work with. We found that we were treated kindly, which helped us to relax about the move.

The MoveCube arrived at the right time, we loaded it, and sent it off. Then we waited.

A few months later we received notice that our belongings were to be delivered. We received the MoveCube, which was in perfect condition.

There are no hidden charges or any surprises. You can track where your goods are.

We have recommended Seven Seas to our friends who needed a shipping company.

We would use them again if needed!

Seven Seas. What can i say? They were absolutely fantastic. Incredibly helpfull, and always at the end of the phone, when i needed them, even for the smallest, or simplest of questions. Communication from them was excellent, with consistent emails, to keep me updated, on the shipping and when i was likely to receive my cube. One hundred percent professional, in every aspect. Would thoroughly recommend their service. Their shipping price was competitive, and paperwork was easy to complete, through their website. Such friendly staff, made dealing with them a pleasure. Great experience.
